Every young person is different. That's why I don't use a 'one-size-fits-all' approach.  Here's how we get started - and how I make sure your son or daughter gets exactly the support they need.

STEP 1

Free discovery call

We start with a no-obligation 15-minute call — usually with the parent, or the student themselves if they prefer. I'll listen to what's going on, ask a few questions, and get a feel for what's needed. No pressure, no sales pitch. Just an honest conversation.

STEP 2

A tailored proposal — just for them

Within a day or two, I'll send a suggested coaching plan outlining the sessions I'd recommend. Most students need 2–3 sessions. Some need just one. A few benefit from more. I'll be upfront about what I think — and why.

Coaching can cover: Career direction & options · A-level or degree choices · University applications & UCAS Personal Statements · Degree vs Apprenticeship · CV writing · Interview skills & mock interviews · Assessment Centre preparation and more!

STEP 3

Sessions that work around you

Sessions usually last 60–90 minutes and are available in person (Cobham, Surrey) or online via video call — so wherever you are in the UK (or world!), we can work together. Between sessions, students are given practical tasks to help them make real progress, not just talk about it.

STEP 4

Confidence, clarity — and results

By the end of our sessions, students leave knowing what they want, how to go after it, and feeling genuinely ready. Whether that's acing an interview, submitting a Personal Statement they're proud of, or simply having a clear plan of their next steps — that's what we're working towards.

Who I work with:

Students from Year 11 upwards — Sixth Formers, school leavers, current university students, and recent graduates. Parents are welcome to be as involved as their son or daughter is comfortable with.

Not a student? If you're a career changer, returning to work after a break, or just feeling stuck or lacking confidence to tackle job applications or interviews — visit CareerSpringboard to see how I can help you too.
